«PLANTATION # 2 – Policing Narratives» is the second performance work of experi_theater in a series of artistic investigation into the history and practice of the plantation. Our ongoing non-white artistic practice and its critical focus on the colonial reality has led us into this continuous experimental work. The performance focusses on policing narratives of BIPOC* bodies beyond chronicling individual cases to address the broader system of inequality and injustice in the society – how they are structured, how they harm non-white people, and how we can advocate for change?

«PLANTATION #2 - Policing Narratives» deals with a journey from life to prison, mass incarceration and mass killing, mechanisms of the criminal justice system, and how practices of the abolition movement can support us to resist and move on together.

Interactive show hearing untold stories of Queers in All Over the Globe. Poetry, Musical Arts and Stories will be heard live in String Talk.

Some Indigenous communities always treasured and celebrated the beautiful diversity of Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and expression. Historicaly in colonialism perpetuates intersectional discrimination against non-heterosexual Indigenous individuals, This “Broken Crayons” systemic discrimination not only violates our rights being human and also us being part of our communities.

This episode we want you to answer the vital questions:
What kinds of challenges do members of the LGBTQI+ face in tribal communities?

Trans people who fled from gender-based persecution are at high risk of multiple discrimination, also in access to health care. Far from home, in the asylum system, they often find themselves confronted with a lack of understanding for who they are and what their health-related needs are. In the workshop we will learn about aspects such as: How do trans people experience the asylum system, for example camps in Switzerland, and how do they cope

to survive? What does the right to health entail for them? And how can healthcare professionals take good care of trans refugees?

Workshop über die Lebensumstände von geflüchteten LGBTIQ-Menschen.

Voice and performance of Trans Journalist, a Trans Writer, a Trans activist and artist Reya Morgado, who will share personal experiences together with Techno revolution tribal music from the Philippines and a per-formance of tribal dance for resistance.

Birth. Death. Life. 3 stories. Interconnected. Intertwined. Interfaced. Interrelated. When does birth end and death begin? An intricate and confusing arrangement. The path twists and turns back on itself again and again. The complexities and challenges of the human mind. It is a reminder that the journey is not a linear path but a complex and winding journey that requires patience, resilience and … faith. It reminds us to remain humble, open, and receptive to the lessons and wisdom that the journey  can offer.

6 bodies. 3 stories. Infinite resonance. The performance is an active process of unlearning, acknowledging and living with the unspoken, particularly in this part of the world. We often speak of birth and rarely of death and how they are two sides of the same coin. Perhaps there is no coin. Perhaps it’s happening all the time, at the same time, in the same place and space. They are codependent. Through a hybrid collaborative multimodal fusion of creative expressions, the audience gets to witness a playful but reflective syncretic meditation on the Labyrinth of Life.
